Alise Clapick started her career back in her home town of La Jolla California. Her first job in high school was at a neighborhood salon, where she immediately became interested in the art of hair coloring and styling. In 2008, after graduating from Paul Mitchell Beauty School, she moved up to San Francisco to start her apprenticeship at the world-class Di Pietro Todd salon.

Alise has trained with some of the best colorists and stylist in San Francisco and she has honed her talent by creating radiant, dimensional hair color. In 2014 she brought her practice to the David James salon in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of SF where she is known for her talent with the freehand hair painting technique known as balayage. Natural lived in hair color is her trademark. Currently, Alise serves her clients at 220 Salon in Portland, OR.

In her free time, she enjoys crafting, cooking/baking and exploring the Pacific North West with her 1 year old son Auggie . She stays current by keeping up with hair-trends and often takes classes to ensure that her skillset is continually growing.
